This Easter Sunday is truly a bitter sweet occasion for many Christians, for whilst we joyously celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we do so in the isolation of our own homes due to the segregation caused by the current outbreak of Covid-19.

For anyone who would benefit from joining an online Lutheran service of the Word from Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Fareham, then please use the links I’ve included below. As a church  we have done our best to make the service as accessible as possible, by way of live streaming video, and also live audio streaming too. Also we have included the “Order of Service” so that anyone visiting can join in with the service.

I have personally found the most effective way of joining the service is to view the Youtube live stream through my Smart TV, and download the Order of Service PDF on my tablet. Obviously your experience will be limited by the speed of internet connection, and also the size of screen etc., but even listening in audio only and following the order of service on your mobile is surprisingly satisfying.

The service begins at 10:30am if you’re in the U.K., but will also be recorded in both video and audio for those unable to make the live broadcast. If you wish, I have embedded the video stream, an audio player, and a PDF of the Order of Service all together on the website homepage, which will become visible 30 minutes before the service starts. Alternatively you can use the links below to access by whichever option is more suitable.
